I was a widow selling my home after living there for 23 years. It was very emotional and stressful. Adam met me at my home and provided a seller packet full of helpful information. He then arranged to come take pictures of the property. The 360 pictures he took of the property were amazing! We were off on the roller coaster of house selling. Lots of people came to look at the property. The first "buyer" backed out and second buyer wanted the sewer repaired. Adam obtained bids and checked on the work before, during, and after, which was great, because I had already moved out of town. Adam was always available by text, email, or phone and always responded promptly. I liked that no question was "dumb" and he responded professionally to each question or concern just like it was the first time he had ever been asked the question! Having Adam Crowder as a realtor was one of the best decisions we ever made when we had to clear out and then sell our in-laws home. It was a long process to get it ready to even go on the market but Adam was patient and helpful every step of the way. He provided us with lists of potential estate sales businesses, foundation repair experts, etc. When the house was ready for sale he was incredibly respectful of the choices we had to make and never pushed us to do otherwise. He was professional but kind and very encouraging. Adam kept us updated during the entire process as well and was always available to answer questions. We never felt like a bother. We were assigned Adam by chance through a Realtor request and knew that he was the agent for us when we met with him. He is very knowledgeable about the market, neighborhoods, and construction aspects of houses. We bought a house as is that scared other buyers off because of structural beams and braces. With Adam’s knowledge we moved forward with an offer and had a structural engineer come out. The engineer assured us of the condition of the home and we feel so lucky to have bought our house at the price we did. Adam was very responsive and always let me know that no question was a dumb question. I really enjoyed working with Adam and appreciate his insights and advice. I highly recommend working with Adam!

I am not sure if the market conditions changing or not but it seemed our house sat on the market for awhile. Resulting in us having multiple price drops of 14% from listing. The initial encounter with Adam was great with nice booklet of market comps. The actual listing and marketing of our house has some room for improvement as the signs used to advertise open house or house for sale are the same ones we could buy ourselves from Walmart. I guess he thought the house would move quickly and advertising with high quality content was not needed. We put almost $18,000 into the house getting it ready for market based on advice. Unclear if that was wasted money or it actually got us the buyer. Was very unhappy with the home inspector as he physically damaged our house during the inspection. I have family who are master inspectors and architectural engineer(s) from the KC area and upon showing them the pictures they were shocked by the damage the inspector caused. If the house had not sold it was advised consulting an attorney and suing for damages. In summary Adam was strong at the start and at closing but the mid-game seemed to have room for improvement. Granted the market started cooling and I think agents in general were trying to find their footing with rates vaulting 4% in a few months.
