When we chose Roberta Olney as our agent to sell our house in Port Charlotte, the angels must have been singing. We knew our house was nice and appealing, but there were things that needed upgrading and repair. We live out-of-state and really needed advice as far as what to do to get the house sale ready. Roberta expertly advised us as to what that needed to be done, what would be nice to do, and what we did not need to do. We followed her advice. She helped us find contractors, and helped make sure the work was done appropriately. This was SO helpful! When it came to listing in a tough market for sellers, Roberta worked with us to realistically price the house. She knows the market so well! She doesn’t over promise, she doesn’t mess around, she tells you the truth in the kindest, almost therapeutic way possible. I have to say Roberta handled our property with great finesse. We had offers, and there were negotiations and big glitches in a VERY short period of time, There were decisions to be made. There were big emotions to deal with. Roberta handled everything very well, with great professionalism and with great finesse. Our house sold in 3 days. I know it was not easy. But I am so glad we trusted Roberta with this job. I have made 5 real estate transactions in other states in the past 5 years. Roberta is by far the hardest working, most reliable, fun to work with agent I have ever dealt with.
