I met Kathryn by mistake. I went to an open house advertised for Sat from 1-3. I waited 'til 1:20 and no realtor showed up, so I called the number on the listing. A lady answered and I said "I'm at your open house and there's no one here. What's going on?" My frustration showing. The lady politely replied "I don't believe we have any open houses today. What is the address and I'll check." I provided the address and she came back with " We have an open house at that address but it's on Saturday." to which I snapped "Today is Saturday and there's no one here." My frustration growing that she didn't know what day it was. She very politely responded "Today is Friday, please check your phone." Of course she was right and I (feeling a fool) responded "Sorry, I'll come back tomorrow." I fully expected that to be the end of it. Me, obviously ticked off, calling on her day off to look the the cheapest listing she had, and so clueless I didn't even know the day of the week. I was not a high probability sale. But she says: "Since you are already there, I'll come show you the property now if you like." That's Kathryn, always available when you need her. Always working for you, the customer. And always, always responds quickly. I was a high risk, low payoff customer; but she always made me feel like the most important one. A few observations from working with Kathryn: 1. She is very knowledgeable about the local market; the supply, locations and pricing of properties. She willingly shares and provides guidance; but she is never condescending. 2. She is helpful and will guide you in developing reasonable expectations; but she is never pushy. 3. She is friendly and easy to talk to; but it is genuine and not a sales tactic. 4. She is tactful and has established local industry contacts. She can get information you request from outside sources. Kathryn is a professional and a delight to work with. I highly recommend her.
