I’m in the IT world and work remotely, so having a home office is very important to me. Mark showed me several properties that had great home offices, but were lacking in other areas like rooms and sq. ft. He then proposed that I let him build a beautiful outdoor workspace that looks modern but is functional. He just installed a 5’ x 7’ window on the front of the shed that has me counting down the days till I get to use it. He’s also finishing our FROG that will bring us around $35k from a sq ft. perspective once it’s livable. You won't find a better agent than Mark.

I know reviews are supposed to be short and direct, but I cannot begin to express how fiercely intelligent, genuinely kind, and immensely dedicated Lugean is as a real estate agent and more importantly as a human being. Lugean is just nice to work with and then you get homemade treats, cinnamon rolls, strawberry jam, followed up with yeast rolls later. I bought this derelict 1902 cottage out of altruism, tired of seeing old Harkers Island disrespected cottages torn down then high rise beach houses up. The inside is a mess I am chipping away at, remains to be seen if I could ever live there.

I reached out to Christi after doing some research for realtors local to the property that needed to be sold. I called Christi, she was very responsive to all my questions and very quickly visited the property and provided some options regarding sailing the property “as is”. She was efficient and effective in her marketing of the property and within a short period of time the property sold!! Super easy to work with, provided updates (without soliciting) and very knowledgeable.

When Judy and I made the decision to leave the coast to get closer to our kids and grand kids we never considered any other realtor than Lugean Hogan. We knew several homeowners who had worked with Lugean and all were extremely happy with their experience. When we discussed our time table of a year out she convinced us that we should list now while the market was still strong. Once we made the decision to start the process she was very involved in helping us prepare the house for listing. She oversaw the staging of the house and arranged for excellent pictures of the property both inside and out. The house never looked better and it was under contract in 3 days. It wasn’t by chance that the closing went off without a hitch, but rather her staying on top of all the details of the closing. It was the easiest house sale we have ever experienced. Due to her knowledge of this market I wouldn’t consider any other realtor.
