We had a great experience with Ilene. Our house sat on the market for about 6 months, even with a price drop, before we switched to Ilene. She pulled it off the market and updated all of the marketing materials, photos, minor staging, etc. She even had a handyman do some minor repairs on her own. We were struggling with the sale of our house. It was an empty house sitting on the market for months. My husband and I decided it was time to change realtors. Ilene came in, cleaned it up, staged it, relisted it and sold it in a week! Needless to say we think she is pretty awesome!

Our house was in the northwest area of the Phoenix metro area and we wanted someone local to help us sell it. After interviewing several people, we selected Elise Fay because she not only seemed to know the area but she also had a lot of energy, experience and good ideas. We had just had the house appraised but she told us we could sell it for several thousand more. Even at that price, she promised it would sell within a month. We were skeptical but said OK. Elise sent over a specialist to help stage the house, recommended tradesmen to do minor repairs and painting, wrote a flattering but true description of the house, and had a professional photographer take pictures for the internet. She had put out a “coming soon” tickler so she already had a list of interested parties. It went live on Zillow and other web sites one afternoon and in less than 24 hours we had a full-price buyer. Even though the house sold in one day, we felt the price Elise set was spot-on. Elise held our hands all the way through closing, which went very smoothly.

Let me start by stating that this is the first time I have ever done a review on the internet as it isn't my style. However, for Elise I have no hesitation to do one now. I met Elise by chance months before I even knew for sure I was moving to AZ. Although she knew I may not have gotten a job transfer to AZ (moving from DC), she still kept in regular contact with me. She was never persistent, but she was always kind, friendly, honest, down-to-earth, and real. When my job transfer was finally a reality, she worked closely with me throughout the process of narrowing down locations, researching the perfect area for me and my family, and greatly helping me find the right people to get me through the strenuous process. I only had less than 2 weeks to find a home. She took me and my family to over 30 houses (which was more of my indecisiveness than anything else). The entire time she was unbelievably helpful, well informed, and patient. She made us feel like we were absolutely her only clients from our first encounter until we moved into our perfect house. She did a phenomenal job in negotiating the right price, professionally fighting for us, and making sure other additional items that were needed got done. Even after the closing and us moving in, she continues to make sure everything is exactly as we expected.
