We bought the house during the upswing of the market and had high expectations, so we decided to list higher than Duke recommended, knowing it was unlikely we would get that much, but hoping we would. We signed a six month contract and dropped the price some every few weeks with little activity because the market had dipped by the time we were able to list. We were worried our choice at the start because a mistake was made in the listing that we had to ask to have corrected. Also, the promotional video didn't seem to promote the house as well as it did a recent sports team win. We also didn't see the video anywhere but on their website, so I don't think it was effective. The postcard that went out also had an error that had to be corrected. We did not see a lot of interest in the home, partially because of the market and partially because we had it listed too high. When the listing was expiring, we were planning to just take it off the market but decided to extend it a little longer and put the house to the price that was recommended by Duke from the start. We got an offer within a month after that and the negotiations and closing of the sale went well. Despite a few mistakes, Duke was honest with us from the start and did an overall good job of checking on the property which was vacant. He has a good grasp on the market in the Fort McCoy area. We would recommend working with him.
