We had been scouring through the real estate sites, like Zillow, for a few months and saw a lot of houses that we liked but nothing jumped off the screen at us at first. After contacting Lara and talking about our budget, location preference and what we were looking for in a home, she set us up to receive emails from the MLS website that matched our guidelines. We looked at 7 houses the day that we found our new home. Lara made the counter offer process very easy and offered excellent advice on what to counter with, why and what to ask for in return from the seller, additional to just the sale. We were under contract on Christmas Eve all thanks to Lara being always available. Over the next couple of weeks she answered all of our questions regarding what’s next, anything else we need to do, who else needs to be called and when each step needed to be completed by. Lara provided us with contact information for inspectors and insurance quotes; excellent recommendations in our option. She scheduled everything on her end within plenty of time which allowed our closing process to go swiftly and zero speed bumps. On our closing date, Lara met us at the title office, introduced us to everyone and although her job as realtor was pretty much done at this point, her being there took away a lot of the anxiety of buying a home. We lived in Pennsylvania and needed to re-locate to the Jacksonville area. I was shopping the housing market on Realtor.com and contacted Lara when I found something I was interested in.
