My name is Carrie Hoffman. I am a broker at REMAX Realty Central in Carbondale, Il. I am honored to join this highly successful and experienced brokerage and focus on my new and exciting career in real estate. I earned my bachelor of the arts degree from Western Michigan University and have spent many years in the field of education. I seek to bring my skills from the classroom to the real estate world by building relationships with my clients and guiding them through the home-buying process. In my previous states of residence, in Michigan and then South Carolina, I bought and sold many of my own homes and would love to use my knowledge to walk others through this rewarding adventure. My husband took the opportunity to become a Saluki and join SIU as a creative writing professor. I am new to the area and love to explore new places. Southern Illinois offers a unique culture and so many breathtaking sights to discover. Becoming a real estate agent has been a goal of mine for a long time, and I look forward to working with you to reach your home ownership goals. When I'm not working hard, I enjoy the outdoors. Swimming has always been my passion. I teach swimming lessons to children at John A. Logan college, and I hope to instill the love of swimming to a younger generation. I also enjoy hiking with my beautiful family. I have two amazing children, a wonderful husband, and two crazy huskies who love to join in on the hiking. As a Girl Scout leader for many years, I cherish the outdoors, and Southern Illinois is the perfect home for a nature lover. I strongly believe it is my duty to represent my clients to the best of my ability.
