Born on Capitol Hill and raised on Mercer Island, Alison worked as a textile designer in New York, London and Hong Kong before returning to Seattle in 1997. She opened Seattle Seating, interiors shop in Seattle and started buying fixer up real estate and entered the field professionally in 2003 and became a Real Estate Managing Broker in 2005. Alison has resided in Laurelhurst for over 25 years. She is active at the Seattle Yacht Club and enjoys Gardening, Cooking and Walking the shores of Lake Washington.

She holds many awards and designations such as ABR, CRS, Certified Negotiation Expert, e-Pro and she is even a member of MENSA. Ann is very active in the local Jazz community, playing the Bari Sax in both the Portage Bay Big Band and Seattle Women's Jazz Orchestra.
