About Jo

I am committed to detail. As a full service, full time agent working in the Northern Virginia and Washington, DC areas I understand the specific needs of my clients. This allows me to provide you expert, hands on experience as you buy, sell, renovate or rent. As your real estate professional it is my job to guide you in the home buying and selling processes. I also can provide you an all-inclusive concierge service to help you prepare your home for sale or rent. I have an army of trusted and reliable contractors I have worked with over many years who can help transform any house into a home or to get it ready for today's buyers. The Washington DC area is consistently changing - more so than many other markets in the country. Having a local real estate agent can help you stay on top of the trends buyers and sellers in this area demand. I know this area inside and out, having spent my entire life in the metropolitan area, including residing in Fairfax County since 1982. This is home for me - I have an intimate knowledge of the DC metro area and have seen all the development as it has unfolded. For those interested in buying a home, I will spend whatever time is necessary working with you to make sure you call this area home too. Usually after seeing just a few homes with my buyers, I have a good understanding of your likes/dislikes and can tailor my search to meet your specific desires. For Sellers, I offer direct and online marketing to targeted areas to increase exposure for the property. I also coordinate any other aspect of the sale as well such as new purchase, individualized referral to another agent for out of town areas, or anything else to help facilitate the needs of the client.

Always on top of details

I have never experienced a realtor like Jo Ann. She is 110% on top of home marketing. She also is 110% on top of all aspects of the sell. She answers the phone more than any realtor, she tracks everything and catches mistakes and follows up on everybody to assure a completed and speedy transaction. In short you can count on her.

Jo Ann did an excellent job. She helped us navigate all our concerns. She never once made us feel we were asking too many questions. We would highly recommend her. Mary and Mike Finn

Joan Lovett is an exceptional realtor who is professional, knowledgeable and an expert in her field!

Joan was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and awesome to work with! She was very patient in helping us find a one-level-completely handicapped-accessible property suitable for our mobility-impaired daughter and us. Her expertise and experience were on full display as she guided us throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond by providing information and advice that we were not aware of but needed to know. She demonstrated compassion and understanding of our unique situation and met our needs wherever possible. She also facilitated our move from our old house to the new one. If you have a question, Joan has an answer! I highly recommend Joan to anyone who wants to purchase a home of any kind!

The Benefit of Experience

Never underestimate the value of a realtor with experience. I have worked with Jo Ann for years now and her knowledge of the real estate market and what a seller needs to do to get a house ready to sell is always spot on. Jo Ann helped us get our house ready, had the contacts for all the top notch contractors, priced our home appropriately, and as a result we received three full price offers with no contingencies on the FIRST day. We closed in less than a month. We couldn’t be happier with the results.

The Best of the Best!!!

I was one of Jo Ann’s first clients many years ago and now still using her for selling and property management. Let me assure you that you will not find a better realtor. She always is available assist and you will not find a more seasoned accomplished top realtor. Also another hallmark of a super realtor is answering cell calls timely - yes she answers calls immediately 9 times out of 10. The 10th time she will text back saying when she can get back to u. The above only tells you a few key attributes of her services. Call her and you will understand my complete satisfaction
