She assisted us in purchasing our first home and any time I had questions about the process that I didn’t understand, she never made me feel stupid for it. She broke everything down, explained it very thoroughly, and was always so kind. With each house we viewed, she never pushed us onto anything we weren’t interested in. She really valued what we were looking for. There were a couple of homes we looked at and after seeing our faces or something she didn’t even like, she was willing to move onto the next one. She was very professional and negotiated very well. If she didn’t have an answer right away, she always made sure we had an answer in less than 24 hours. You can tell she is in this job because she loves it and values helping others find a home that suits their needs. I truly cannot praise her enough. First off, I am a pretty hard person to please, but Katy did a great job of not only meeting, but exceeding my expectations as a home buyer. I live about 300 miles from North Carolina and over a period of about four or five weeks, Katy hooked me up with the perfect home. She started off asking me what I wanted and didn't want in a home as well as a price range. Each weekend that I visited NC, Katy emailed me a group of several homes on Wednesday to preview before showing them to me on the weekend. She knows the area well and after a few weeks she found me a home outside of Winston-Salem in a very nice and peaceful area. Katy was very responsive with questions and would quickly find answers about properties and get back to me right away. She generated comp reports and sent them to me right away and when I was ready to make an offer, she offered her advice about it being an offer that would be reasonable. She was very professional and negotiated everything we asked for and offered to negotiate for some things that I had not thought of. Overall, Katy was indispensable. She made the purchase of my home seamless. She answered all of my questions about the process of buying a home in NC and was willing to help in every way possible. Her knowledge of the area and willingness to put in the time to find the perfect home for me was priceless.

I have worked with Teresa many times. The reason I choose her is because she is knowledgeable, she explains everything clearly, and she doesn't let things fall through the cracks. She stays on top of everything, keeps me updated, and always goes the extra mile for me. When I turn things over to her, I know it's going to be handled right the first time. When I also purchased through her, she had all of her inspectors lined up asap so that I had all of my inspections and survey done within five days of my inspections window so that the unknowns didn't have to drag on for weeks. When we found issues, she helped me negotiate quite a bit off the price and had the documents signed within an hour to seal the deal on the price reduction. She always answered her phone and always got back to me quickly. I have more property to sell and buy, and I will only use Teresa.

One thing that David stood out among other real estate agents we talked with was his willingness to meet us in person! He picked a place close to our home, brought a marketing package with him to the meeting about our home, and shared what he would do to sell it. Before he got into any information about the house - we got to know each other a little bit - which made the entire experience more relational vs. transactional. We never felt like we were being “sold” to. He had excellent communication through the entire process from before the first meeting until post closing. He walked our property and looked at it with fresh eyes, gave us recommendations on what to prepare for listing, provided excellent comparable properties backed by data, and supported us through the entire process of listing and selling our home. David negotiated on our behalf, and built a good relationship with buyer agents. He even went around our neighborhood the day before the open house to let neighbors know about it - that is something I haven’t heard of! David very much advocated for us and our property, brought a consultative partnership to the table, and provided us with all the information we needed to make the best decisions throughout the process. I would highly recommend David and have already given a referral to a neighbor! If you need a who keeps her cool when everything’s going sideways, Ashley Renn is who you want. We had a lender drag things out and make the whole transaction harder than it needed to be, and Ashley never lost her head over it. She stayed on top of it and kept us in the loop, and got us to closing without letting the lenders mess become our problem. That kind of steady, “I’ve got this handled” attitude makes all the difference when a deal gets stressful. Highly recommend her if you want someone who actually has your back.
