We were first time buyers ,Dexter was recommended by a long time friend and realtor! My wife and I both had ideas of what we wanted. Our list was quite long ! One thing we didn't want was a HOA ! Dexter listened to our wants and needs ,he is very knowledgeable about all aspects of the Greater Columbia and outlying areas! Dexter explained that not wanting a HOA greatly narrowed our choices! During our first day of house hunting,Dexter listened and was able to feel out what both of us had in mind for our "Dream House"! During the 3 weeks we hunting , the market was moving extremely fast ,Dexter was able to change course to meet our needs! As I stated,this was our first time ,Dexter was able to answer every question and offer his opinion which was really what we needed! Dexter went above and beyond to schedule inspections , find answers if he didn't know off hand! Our hunt went to the far reaches of the area and back a few times! We were told that "word of mouth" is the best way that we could thank Dexter Gates ,we could not have asked for a better realtor! When considering selling my home I did not have an agent in mind. I filled out a form online and had over 20 agents reach out to me. From Ambers initial contact, I knew she was a true professional and felt comfortable with her immediately. Once we met person I was even more convinced that she was THE agent for me. Amber guided me through the process of deciding To sell or not, coming up with a price, a listing date, what needed to be done to the house, etc. Amber gave advice rather than telling me what I wanted to hear and that is the reason to use a realtor in the first place. She was never pushy and only concerned with what was best for me. Amber has a great sense of humor, and I feel we became friends in the process, however she never lost focus of her job. Within hours of going on the market, I received several offers. Amber immediately handled these in the same way she did everything else, as a true professional and with my best interest at heart! in fact she Advised me to take another agent’s offer over one she had written herself. I have bought and sold a number of houses over the years and have dealt with a number of different realtors (mostly pretty shitty) I can not recommend Amber enough. Amber will be the only call I make when I need to buy or sell.

Amber was amazing with finding us a home we loved in an area we loved. In today's extremely competitive and difficult housing market. We struggled with many realtors who were not attentive to our needs and wants. We looked in many states and bid on many homes, but nothing ever panned out for us. We had one realtor tell us to give up all inspections and over bid thousands if we expected to get anywhere. We were not willing to take that risk. Plus, given the fact that we lived out of the states we were looking in, it made it that much more difficult. Many realtors did not want to work with us. We were left hanging many, many times, and losing hope. But, after speaking with Amber, she brought us some hope and joy back. She was so reassuring and positive about the possibilities of actually acquiring a home, that we signed on with her. Well, it didn't take long!! After only a few showings, we saw the perfect place for us. Amber, said okay its yours!! Here we are in beautiful Leesville, SC in the home that fits all our needs. We love it here and are very happy with the process, from the lenders, and attorney, to the many hoops that Amber got us through. She continues to help us with our questions about the area and things we may need. We are so glad to have found Amber, she saved our sanity. We are happily retired in SC from Illinois. Amber was amazing and extremely helpful with the sale of our house. She stayed up very late the night of the listing to work on getting a contract signed in less than 12 hours of the listing going live. Anything we asked for she took care of it immediately.
