We were in the market for a investment property to buy and rent out. We approached Meera having known absolutely nothing about being landlords or financing investment properties! She went through our options and prices ranges both within the Bay Area and outside, and even offered to put us in touch with experts if we were looking outside the state! As you can imagine, it took us a while to figure out where we wanted to buy and what kind of property we wanted to buy to rent out. From showing houses, condos and townhomes in our price range to getting on the waiting lists of many of the new constructions in the outskirts of the bay area and beyond. We were looking to move from Seattle to the bay area and came across Meera through her online presence, where she had helped some of our acquaintances in similar situations. Right from the start, we were impressed as she was asking the right questions, indicating she understands the complexities in a holistic fashion. She also took time to understand and explain how the market works differently between the WA & CA markets and was open to trying techniques that had worked in the WA market, even if it meant multiple calls with listing agents to make sure they understand. Super flexible and readily available with schedule, she was with us as we toured homes across east and south bays. Based on our criteria, she also opened up new areas for us to consider. Meera also didn't hesitate to push back with some riskier options we were trying to pursue - eg., fixer uppers and how to think about rebuild, associated costs, financing etc., However, when we found the right home, she moved fast, iterated with us on offer details, made sure all details were accounted for & a clear offer presented.
