Expert guidance through a complex out of country sale
Selling my aunt and uncle's home at 3700 N. Monument Drive was not something we chose. Circumstances meant the house had to be listed, and it was already a very difficult time to be selling in Arizona. This was also not a typical property: an age restricted, lifestyle oriented community in Anthem (Florence) with a much narrower pool of qualified buyers. Having a veteran like Claudia Wilson referred to me made all the difference. I was acting as Power of Attorney from Vancouver, Canada, and I had only recently stepped into that role for my aunt and uncle. On top of an already complex situation, I was coordinating everything across a border, with no experience selling real estate in the United States, let alone in a community like this one. Claudia already knew exactly what needed to happen and in what order, and she made the process remarkably smooth. What earned my trust quickly was simple. She kept me informed, and she kept me on task. I always knew what was coming next and what was required of me, which is worth a great deal when you are thousands of kilometres away and handling someone else's affairs. In the end, Claudia did not just get us the outcome we were hoping for. She sold the home quickly in a genuinely depressed market. I am grateful for her expertise, her patience, and her professionalism, and I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone selling in the Anthem community, particularly anyone doing it from a distance or under a power of attorney.
