Nancy is a miracle worker that found a way to get me out of an extremely crowded market very near my price. Growing up in the DC area her intuitive sense of political risk came naturally and she somehow developed an innate ability to dispel or at the very least mitigate those types of risks in the mind of this seller. These are rare though admirable traits that can be found in many agents, but to me Ms. Dietrich is so very, very much more: She is cool under fire. Immediately after listing we faced two pretty annoying hurricanes that drastically altered the marketplace for the foreseeable future...at least to a man as weak as I. Nancy knew we were sitting on a winner and her resolve to see this deal through to its natural conclusion, coupled with her ability to to articulate market views in a way that I could understand were far greater than my inclination to keep dropping the price till we caught a declining market. For this reason I am forever in her debt for taking feelings and personalities out of what is naturally one of the most stressful times most of us eventually face. There are countless types of agents out there who are all either taller or shorter, smarter or dumber, faster or slower...etc. etc. I love america because we can choose any agent for any reason, but if your reason for choosing an agent is because you want the best: You are finished searching.

So, picture this: I’m casually browsing Zillow, not even sure if I want to buy, rent, or just dream about owning a mansion with a pool. Next thing I know, I click on a house just for fun, and BOOM—Hannah calls me like a house-hunting superhero. I told her straight up, “Listen, I have no idea what I’m doing.” Fast forward 24 hours—Hannah meets me and my boyfriend (now husband, so she’s clearly good luck). The moment we met, I knew she was MY REALTOR. It was like reconnecting with an old friend—except she actually knew how to buy a house, which was helpful. We put in offers, faced the heartbreak of losing out, but then we found THE ONE. Hannah worked some kind of real estate magic and got us closed in three weeks. THREE. I still don’t know how she pulled that off, but I’m convinced she has superpowers. She also found us an amazing mortgage company, walked us through everything like we were in kindergarten (which, honestly, we needed), and made the whole process fun. But wait, there’s more Hannah didn’t just help us buy a house. She became my forever friend. She was so awesome that I literally invited her to my wedding and she SHOWED UP If you need a realtor who’s a mix of best friend, life coach, and real estate wizard, Hannah is your girl. I’d recommend her 1000x over—just maybe don’t casually click houses on Zillow unless you’re ready for the best decision of your life.
