I am originally from New England and relocated to Citrus County to enjoy the sunshine and the beaches year round. I have two grown children that still live in Maine, so I am able to travel back often and enjoy a lobster or two and visit the seacoast. I was a sign language interpreter for over twenty years before becoming a Realtor, and am fluent in ASL. I enjoy tennis, reading, and finding local restaurants for a night out. Having become a realtor, I discovered my passion in helping people find their dream home. My husband, Dan Ford and I, work together as a team to ask what your needs are and find the perfect place for you and your family to lay your heads at night. Born and raised in Upstate New York, with cows on the nearby fields and hillsides full of grapes for the Finger Lakes Wineries, Laura was the oldest of four children,-2 sisters and a little brother. After high school, tired of the country life, she went to college in New York City and studied advertising and communications at the Fashion Institute of Technology, FIT. Then it was on to San Diego, California for work and lifestyle options. She started and operated a courier service for advertising agencies within the southern California market, then went into sales and marketing, and finally real estate at Prudential La Mesa Realty which became her true love. After 13 years in California, she relocated to New York State, back to the very countryside she knew so well. Laura brought her California husband and they raised two beautiful children while moving often for career options. Experiences like managing a Chamber of Commerce tourism center, owning a Christmas tree farm, substitute teaching in the high school, and raising a litter of seven German Shephard puppies, added to her life story. After moving to Melbourne FL in 2015, she was able to join the ranks of real estate professionals and so began the next chapter. She now lives in Inverness, Florida and enjoys the city life mixed with the countryside - - making new friends and finding great customers as she helps them navigate the best options toward the myriad of stories that make up a life. Excellent purchase of a home!

When I started looking for homes, I randomly was selected to work with Kendra, it was a match, made perfect. She was able to accommodate all of my needs, and accept the input from my mother and sister. We were able to close in 14 days. Yes that’s right. She moved it up a day and worked hard to get me in one day sooner. I appreciate her and she was very professional on time. Kendra went above and beyond to get us the price that was acceptable to us. She found us a fabulous home that had been well taken care of excited to be in Brentwood community. Thank you guys so much for your help.
