I finally decided to sell my home of 24 years to downsize my empty nest. After months of donating, selling, dumping and storing we put the house on the market in October and expected it would go quickly since my neighbors home did. It was my luck that there was a government shutdown, the holidays and unforeseen circumstances and my home continued to sit despite many showings. I started to get discouraged because my next step was contingent on my home selling and living in limbo was excruciating but Sharyn continued to stay positive and believe that it would happen. Finally in January we got an offer and things were looking up. I finalized my move in anticipation of a February 28th closing. A couple days before the closing we learned that they needed extra time to get some stuff together and the closing was pushed to March 4th. The worry returned and Sharyn continued to stay positive and insist we would get it done. Unfortunately that closing date wasn't meant to be because the prospective buyer just didn't have the funds and we relisted the house. Sharyn continued to stay in touch with the buyers lender because he insisted they would make it happen. Fast forward after starting this process initially in January we were able to finally close last week!!! The relief I feel is beyond description. At this point another agent may have cut their losses and move on to "easier" deals but Sharyn stuck with it and kept positive even though some days I thought it was just dreaming and hoping with no facts to back it up. I guess that's the point of faith, is to believe even when you can't see the outcome. I'm grateful to have had her by my side as well as the contractor she brought on board to assist me in getting the house together and so much more. Thanks again Sharyn!!
