Quy broke the mold of what we considered a realtor to be. He knew Long Beach like the back of his hand and it showed us how proud he was to help us find a house in our budget, in this city. As soon as we requested to view a home, he would reply with a quick text to let us know he was on it and sure enough, the date and times were set at our convenience. He never discouraged us about any of the homes we looked at. He found the silver lining to every property but never pressured us to make an offer we were not 100% certain on. Quy was honest and told us to focus on what we could control. When our offers were not chosen, and this happened around 5 or 6 times, he would encourage us that the house that was meant to be would soon appear. Each rejection was a body blow that would take the wind out of us, 2 almost brought us to tears because my wife and I felt so close to getting a home. It was as if Quy could sense our distress and he helped us get through that funk by empathizing with us. He assured us we were doing everything we could and not to get discouraged, we will find the perfect house. After that, we made 2 more offers, and were lucky enough to get the house we thought we would not get, thanks to Quy's advice to take a shot and avoid regretting not doing so. We are now in our first home, arguing over furniture choices and paint schemes all thanks to Quy's hard work ethic and uncompromising service.

Thinking of owning a home was just a dream, but one day we reached out to our personal friend/realtor, Quy Do to show us a home in LKWD. After seeing it, we were kind of scared (normal feelings of getting into a huge commitment). Being in the mortgage industry for over 22 years, I was now that borrower questioning, seeking and wanting to know what were the best option and where would we wanted to live. We then started to look at the OC area where we were currently living. Quy was so patient and took us to see a handful of homes. It opened up this list of pros and cons, what we really liked or didn’t like, along with which neighborhood was best suited for us. Along the process we found out we were expecting our first child. That now changed everything. Looking for a home wasn’t just for us, but it was an opportunity to look at what was best for our growing family. We were almost ready to give up and considered going back to renting another property as the market/properties got a little crazier to even view or make offers. One day we got this call from Quy asking us to drop what were doing and to meet him in LWKD to see a home he thought would be perfect for our growing family. He was right, it was perfect to see all of the opportunities this home would give us. It was a pocket listing to top it off and never made it on the market. We were able to make our first offer and it got accepted!!! The process and communication with the seller and the selling agent was amazing!!! Going back to that feeling of being scared went away. With confidence, full of details and hand holding from all parties, we felt at ease that we made the best decision for our family. I would and will recommend Quy to all of my family and friends. We had the pleasure of working with Quy to buy our first home. From the first showing we knew we picked the right person to begin this journey with. We could tell he really cared about us finding the right home because of the questions he asked us and the detailed insights he provided during our showings. He also knows about construction and was able to answer questions that many agents can’t because they dont have that skillset. He was also always on time, even though he was driving from Long Beach all the way to Pasadena. When it came time to place an offer or get into the escrow process he was able to explain things clearly and concisely and put us at ease during a process that for many can be extremely overwhelming and stressful. When it came time to negotiate or push the process along everything went smoothly. Our escrow was contingent upon the seller finding a home, which could have been very challenging, but it wasn’t. So, I have been looking for something for months. Everything is pending or sold in my price range until we ferret out this little house out in the desert.
