This market is absolutely insane. My husband and I don’t have much; we’re newly weds and pcsd here in July. Our first Realator basically told us to give up and rent. I cried a few times feeling like a loser. But we gave Kathy Lemay from Remax a call. She went with us to look at houses for days, however many houses we wanted to look at and she didn’t make me cry not one time. Kristen did a fantastic job for us…..and our situation was not easy! I’m a Realtor in NC, and my son is active-duty military stationed overseas. None of us set foot in Aurora but he needed to buy a house there. Kristen spent huge amounts of time making videos to share and discuss with all of us. She communicated well over multiple time zones. She wrote four offers before my son finally got a house…..and that success came because Kristen forged good relationships with listing agents so when another buyer failed to qualify, we were able to step in and get the house before it went back on the market for another bidding war. THAT is what makes a good agent!! We are grateful for all the extras Kristen provided: Her recommended lender did a great job under tight deadlines and with a remote closing, and we needed some post-closing assistance also. Sometimes doing business with friends can be difficult, but Kristen was fantastic to work with! We knew she was organized going in, but she really has a system that works and is easy to follow as we went through the process of selling our home.
