She was great in the beginning, helped us get what we wanted....however we were 6 states away and trusted her to display the home as it was. I wanted to make sure the home was not a money pit and of course she said it definitely was not,well 25k later... When I made the offer I made it was based off the listing which claimed to have heated Pool and things were in working conditions, this was not 100% true . The heat doesnt work to the spa or pool, she never stopped me and said hey this and that doesnt work or is broken when I made the offer...didnt say let's find out what it'll cost you to fix these things then let's make an offer....she was also the sellers agent so I feel she worked more for the seller than our best interest. The tub was leaking, there was no hot water in one shower, the lanai should not of passed inspection in which I had 4 companies tell me this, the windows need replaced and there is more than one leaking roof area which we were also not told of. She made it sound like the pool just needed resurfacing but it needs new tile and they are all broken with holes so that needs done now also so it doesn't get worse...ontop of all of that, she did make us aware the Refrigerator/dishwasher was broken and bought us a warranty to repair them however it's been 3 weeks and is still not repaired. I have two small children and still cant get the home warranty to repair it. There was a postponed time frame because the warranty was not fully paid on her end so we had to wait even longer. We feel she misrepresented the house to get a sale and took advantage of the fact we had to do the buy from so far away. If I was an agent I would never keep things from my clients or sugarcoat them.My advice is get your own inspector aswell. Find your own contractors dont use the ones provided. I would not have paid what I did for the home knowing how much money I would have to put into it. Had we walked through it we would not have offered what we did.
