My goal is to work with as many good people as I can. I know that sounds a little bland, but I really believe working with good people makes my job easier and it's more fun for the client. Not every real estate agent is right for everyone. Certain personalities jive with different people. My goal when I'm working with someone is to earn their trust, respect, and business for life. If I can do that then I know I will be someone they refer to their friends and family. That is the ultimate goal, is to work with their network of people.
Specialties: I have over 22 years of experience in residential sales, investment properties, estate and trust sales, land, new construction, remodeling, pre-foreclosures (short sales), and am CRS, and GRI certified in my industry.
I am consistently in the top 15% of realtors in my area but am most proud of the people who refer me business on a consistent basis. To them, I am truly in debt and can't thank enough.
Amber has been selling residential real estate since 2006. After teaching elementary school (K-2) for 8 years, Amber chose to switch careers to have more flexibility with her kids. Her real estate career started in Minneapolis, MN and transferred to the Des Moines area when her family relocated. Moving to Des Moines was important to Amber and her husband Nick, who both grew up in the area. They currently reside in Urbandale, Iowa with their two children.
Amber specializes in the Western suburbs of Des Moines, focusing on Urbandale, Waukee, Johnston, Clive, Windsor Heights, Grimes, Des Moines, and other surrounding areas. She is relocation certified and works often with families transferring in and out of the Des Moines area.

Anna Douglas comes to our team with a great deal of experience. She has a degree from Iowa State in marketing and she's had training in graphic design and photography as well. She's worked in customer service and knows what it takes to provide excellent service. Anna and her husband Adam, are the proud parents of four beautiful girls, Scarlett, Sloan, Olivia, and Rowyn. Being a mom of 4 has given her amazing time management skills, master negotiation abilities, and superb crisis management. In her free time, well... who are we kidding? Anna doesn't get a lot of free time. So sometimes she watches the laundry piling up and considers it self care. Just kidding...kind of.
I bring a strong background in commercial construction and commercial real estate, with experience dating back to 2002. That foundation gives me a deep understanding of design, structure, and how spaces truly function: insight that translates seamlessly into helping buyers and sellers make smart, confident real estate decisions. In addition to real estate, I co-founded the Joey Jordison Charitable Fund, a nonprofit focused on giving back through music and youth programs - something I’m incredibly proud to be part of. Outside of work, I’m a wife and mom to two sons, and our home life is rounded out by two Japanese Chin dogs and plenty of time spent in the woods. I’m drawn to design, art, music, and homes that balance purpose with personal style and I believe the best spaces are the ones that truly support how you live.
Ashton Ewing is known for her energy, resilience, and people-first approach to real estate. A Dubuque native, she’s been proud to call Des Moines home since 2020 and loves helping others put down roots here too.

The Process was a very positive experience
The process of selling our home and purchasing a new home was a positive one from beginning to end. Amber was readily available and willing to help with all questions and issues throughout the process. If we had issues or questions that she could not answer with one hundred percent certainty she would research the subject matter and get us an answer. We would definitely recommend hiring Amber as your Agent for home sales and purchases.

I would highly recommend Amber to anyone looking for a real estate professional! Amber is such a pleasure to work with. Once she knew our budget (the online portal was quick and easy to use) we promptly got started looking at houses the next day! She is very knowledgeable about the Des Moines area. She even thought of many potential homes that had not hit the market yet! I am very indecisive, and she continued to work hard to find us our first home! Amber was very easy to communicate with and responded very quickly via email, text, or phone call. Being a first time home owner, Amber was SO helpful and honest about any questions we had, she even made sure our closing day went smoothly! We also put her negotiating skills to use to get us the best deal on our new home! I am so happy to have worked with Amber and will work with her again in the future!

Highly recommend!
Matt was wonderful to work with and made the process really easy. He listened to what I wanted in a home and each time we viewed houses they were closer and closer to what I was looking for. I found my new home a lot faster than I thought I would. He is also very knowledgeable about homes in general, their components and their structures and was able to point out things that could present an issue or that other realtors may not even notice. There’s no sugar coating just to get a sale either, I could tell he had my best interest in mind as a first time home buyer. He came highly recommended by the credit union I am going through and even my home inspector had nothing but good things to say. His service definitely confirmed what they said!

Matt is the best!
Matt is the best realtor out there. He knew we were on the fence to sell but it’s hard with two small kids. He literally brought us a buyer! He knew what would work for both of us and it couldn’t have been easier.
