Sheri was great to work with. We got a home at a good price given the current market, and that's saying a lot. As first time home buyers, Sheri walked us through a lot of the process and answered our many questions. Sheri understood what we were looking for and very clearly knew where we could get it in the areas we wanted to live in. She has worked in this area for a long time and it made a big difference. We had fairly strict location parameters from my perspective. Sheri helped us get a house that was a perfect amount of fixing for us. She is well known and respected in the Lakewood/Long Beach area and more importantly knows other realtors well. This really helped at times trying to figure out whether or not another realtor was listing much lower than what they expected (essentially if a place was worth our time based on our budget). I think this helped keep the process moving pretty quickly. She also helped us determine how much over we'd need to offer, though she never pressured us when we hit our max. I felt so secure in this process thanks to her diligence. Also, while I don't expect this from anyone, Sheri is unbelievably prompt. We’ve used Joan Chase Swing for all our real estate needs. The first time we used her services I was looking on my own calling listing agents not getting anywhere until I spoke to Joan. She was so upbeat, I said “hey will you be our agent”? After my husband returned from deployment overseas, our timeline was to buy a house within a month. This was back in 2011 when all the investors were swooping up all the houses. After weeks of making offers along with 25 other buyers each time we were outbid, but lucky for us we were first to make an offer on a foreclosed house, and the bank said yes.
