Sherri is amazing. She helped us buy and sell our homes in Boulder. She ensured that the house we were selling was sale-ready by providing advice on what to keep, what to move out, and little things that make the house inviting. She made cards throughout the house which highlighted the unique features and materials and provided little things to stage the house. She heavily researched comparables to know where to price the home and what we could appraise for. We appraised for asking and we sold for more than I expected we would. She also helped us secure a leaseback to transition to our new home. Additionally, Sherri helped us buy our dream home in Boulder in a hot market. In buying, she had familiarity with the area and also researched comparables to understand if the homes we offered on where priced correctly. She supported us in writing letters to the sellers which helped us to stand out among other buyers. In both buying and selling, she kept us aware of deadlines and pitfalls. It will be obvious to anyone seeking to buy a home in Boulder, Colorado that Boulder is, and will likely continue to be, a tough seller’s market. In such an environment, one needs to work with someone with extensive experience. Donald Cicchillo is that person. While we found Donald by chance, we soon realized that we were working with a professional. Indeed, it is our estimation now that it would be difficult to find a better agent in the Boulder area. Donald stuck with us through thick and thin, through an entire summer in fact, and even when we returned to Europe after initially failing to find a home that was both affordable and right for us. He must have realized early on that in the initial weeks and months of our search we really had not figured out what type of home we wanted, how much we could afford, or what neighborhood would suit us. Nevertheless, Donald patiently showed us numerous houses over a 4-month period, always pointing out both their pluses and minuses. He soon came to know our preferences as well as, if not better than, us. Hence, when we returned to Europe without having found a home, Donald continued the search. He knew what we wanted, and, as the market heated up again the following Spring, he identified a home he knew we would like. He was right. It was the home for us, and we were pleased that with Donald’s help we managed to avoid a bidding war by concluding the transaction to buy it before it came on the market. In our experience, this does not happen very often. This was a win-win-win situation, as we were pleased, the seller was pleased, and Donald was pleased.
