Because I was looking to purchase a home in the same town and have my children attend the same schools, this made the process of looking for a home a bit more challenging as it limited the area where I could purchase. Mark initially confirmed for me the areas where I should look and provided me info from the town that confirmed which areas I should look into. It took longer than expected to find a home because of my criteria, but Mark was very patient with me and gave me great advice throughout the entire search process. He got to know me and what my ‘must haves’ were and gave his recommendations accordingly which saved a lot of time. Most importantly, he never pressured me to put an offer on a house that wasn’t for me. He was so knowledgeable with the area and my criteria that his guidance is why I ended up finding the right house for me and my family. Mark was extremely helpful with the home inspection process and provided insight as to what should be fixed vs. what were nice to haves. This became a stressful part of the process for me as it required negotiations with the seller, but he always made himself readily available to talk and listen. He helped move the process along by reaching out to contractors for estimates – he helped me every step of the way and was happy to do so. He made a stressful situation so much easier with his willingness to help. I know Mark was busy with other clients, but he always made you feel like a priority. It's hard to overstate how fortunate I feel to have found Mark as my agent; he is not only extremely smart, professional, and knowledgeable, but also caring and funny. I’ve worked with agents in the past, but I have come to appreciate how valuable it was work with an agent that I liked so much and now consider a friend.
We decided to purchase a home back in February. Mark had previously helped out our kids in a prior purchase. To say he made this process easy, fun and successful would be an understatement. The COVID 19 pandemic made things challenging, but Mark took control of the process, made things safe (using all proper protocols), and was very professional guiding us through all of the steps of the sale. His help and guidance were instrumental in making this purchase a totally positive experience. We will refer anyone we know to him because we know that they will be well taken care of.
Our experience with Mark was very positive. During our first meeting Mark came to my home and met with my family. He toured the home and informed us of the process to move forward. He made us feel very comfortable with no pressure. Once we decided we were ready to list our home with Mark, he returned to finalize. At that time he informed us he was going to schedule someone to come to our home to provide suggestions for appropriate staging and he was very sensitive to our schedule. In addition he had a videographer photograph and create a video of the interior and exterior(drone) of the home to go along with the photos taken. Everything came out perfect. Mark scheduled open houses upon our request and was exteremely helpful throughout the process. When we were unable to be at our home for specific activities he always stepped up to the plate for us. We had several contracts fall through based on buyer situations so Mark did additional Marketing and Open Houses. He worked diligently throughout the entire process and we were very pleased with his services.
Selling process was explained well, and even with several complications on the buyer side...Mark was involved the whole way advocating for us, and ending with a successful close at the price we expected within 90 days of marketing home, thank you Mark for your hard work. *update more than one year later, Mark keeps in touch occasionally and we will be recommending him to any friends that need a realtor..he's the best!
