About Mia

Mia McCarthy, (REALTOR®/ AHWD, SFR, SRS, ABR Certification), grew up on the “Western Shore” (as the locals call it) in Ellicott City, Maryland. However, in 2002, she, her husband Kevin, and their family decided to make the Eastern Shore their home. Today, Mia’s family has grown to include 8 grandsons, 6 of which live locally, enjoying all that living on the shore offers. Prior to entering Real Estate in 2004, Mia owned and operated Simply The Best Maid Service since 1990. Operating a maid service with over 250 clients taught Mia the value of great customer service & turning clients into personal friends. In 2005, Mia sold the maid service and pursued real estate full-time. Early on in her real estate career, Mia was recognized by Coastal Association of REALTOR’S® as a “Young Gun” making her mark & surpassing the competition. Today, she takes great pride in her accomplishments by continuing to produce award-winning results. Amazing and outstanding experience across the entire process

Michael Thanner, whom I will call my personal agent as he acts as such. He takes care of everything, and applies his outstanding market knowledge and superior professionalism in every step of the process. I don't even have to worry about details or doubts. He knows how to sooth every little ( false) concern I often have using his through swift communication and professionalism.
