Andy Akers spent his early childhood in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky before moving to Louisville when he was 7. Andy attended the University of Louisville for college and lived in Old Louisville for 7 years. After college Andy sold mortgages for 3 years and got his first love of real estate there. After he left the mortgage industry, Andy went into operating room medical equipment sales. Andy sold operating room medical equipment for 7 years before making the switch back into the real estate industry. Andy specializes his knowledge into several different different Louisville markets. My family moved to Louisville when I was 7. Since then, I have called several neighborhoods in this great city home, including Hikes Point, St Matthews, Fern Creek, Old Louisville and the Highlands.
