About Janelle

Janelle was born and raised in Polk County, Florida and has been an active Realtor® since 2003. She has been married to Bill for 25 years and has 3 beautiful daughters. Janelle first earned her Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Florida in 1998 but then went on to get her real estate license a few years later. Education has been very important in Janelle's career and not only did she obtain her broker's license in 2016, she has earned the following designations: Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Performance Management Network (PMN), At Home With Diversity (AHWD), Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource Certificate (SFR) and e-PRO Certification. Janelle has been very active in her local and state associations from the beginning. She has served or chaired on numerous committees with East Polk County Association of Realtors® (EPCAR) over the years and served as President for 15 months in 2009-2010. Janelle was overwhelmed when she was presented with EPCAR's Realtor® of the Year in 2009. She went on to be District 10 Vice President of Florida Realtors® in 2011. While having the opportunity to contribute her time to many state committees over the years, she proudly served as Chair of the Convention Committee in 2013 and Chair of the Communications Committee in 2019. Janelle is currently serving as Florida Realtors® District 10 RPAC Trustee. Janelle is an avid runner and loves to read. She is part of the choir at Legacy Community Church and is a member of The Joy FM's Team Freedom (running to bring awareness to human trafficking).

Terrific Realtor in Central Florida!

Janelle Pruitt, Florida Home Choice Realty, in Winter Haven was an outstanding realtor who aided our home search in Central Florida. She displayed the utmost professionalism, hard work and patience in helping us find the right place at a great price in the Lakeland suburbs. She showed a natural genuineness and authenticity in getting to know us and our specific requirements for our new home in a challenging market. Janelle was proactive in our search, but never pushy, and provided her expertise and sound advice throughout the home search, contract negotiations, inspection, and closing process. She even negotiated a healthy seller's credit to further reduce our price after the inspection turned up a few issues. We had a smooth closing and are thrilled with our new home. As I entered in to the first stage of buying a home, needing a realtor, I dreaded looking for the "right" one. Especially since I was searching for a home in Florida while still living in New York. I needed an experienced, knowledgeable and understanding agent to assist me in every way, considering I was a thousand miles away. Highly recommend!

Very professional

I am so happy that I picked Janelle to sell my property. Having used her before for myself and my son, we knew she would take good care of us. She was there to help recommend contractors if I needed something to be fixed or repaired. Janelle was very good at communicating with us during the negotiations of the contract with the buyer. I was very happy with her and would recommend her to anyone.
