A coworker, who I trust, recommended me to work with Jocelyn. The first time I met her, she sat me down and showed me what the house-buying process looked like and what to expect in the existing market. As a first-time home buyer, this was a great formal training for me and made me feel like Jocelyn was going the extra mile right away by taking the time to educate me and answer some questions I had. After the initial meeting and telling her what I couldn't live without (needed) in a house, she was able keep in contact with me for the next 3 months as we looked at houses in person and online together. I realized how many opportunities she was giving me to communicate my needs because as we saw more houses, my needs were changing (remember, I'm a first-time home buyer, I didn't know 100% what I wanted). And while my needs were changing, Jocelyn would change the filters on the MLS and continuously send me houses to look at online. We would then meet up about once a week to view 3-5 properties in person until we finally found what I was looking for. We would schedule phone calls and house viewings that fit my schedule as I worked Monday-Fri 8-5pm. She was very flexible with my off-work hours and efficient with mapping out our property viewings sequence so we wouldn't waste time. In the end we found a 2ba 2br single family home that was close to my work, move-in ready, and upgraded--a perfect match for me. And Jocelyn continued to stay in contact with me as we went through the offers and inspections and home insurance and appraisal and closing. As long as you communicate what you need from her, Jocelyn will deliver and work with you. Jocelyn is very professional, trusting, strategic, and customer-oriented. I hope to work with Jocelyn again in a few years for my next property purchase.
