and usually are BUT this is genuine and true- So this real estate agent drives by my house and sees my for sale by owner sign. She calls and pesters me to the point where I finally let her visit. Audra is "a force to be reckoned with". So she looks at me and says, " Frank, you have a great exterior on this house, excellent location, and a to die for pier and dock... what's up with the shabby and outdated interior"... Well I explained and showed her the listing and the carpet and paint allowance and the sample of laminate I was going to put down. So she asks, "How is that working out for you? People cannot see past their noses and have no imagination and definitely can't visualize a finished project". I had had very good traffic up to that point and it did not surprise me the issue came up. Bottom line: I did exactly as she told me to do. I repainted the whole house, new laminate flooring and installed new light fixtures. Sandy Balise then staged the house. Sold in less than 48 hours for 40K more than I thought it would net. Audra is not gentle. She does however have the guts and experience to tell you like it is! She is a real professional. Listen to her! Sell your home quicker for more!
