This was our first foray into home buying and we could not be happier with the experience we had with Kandie at the helm! Besides being incredibly kind, supportive, and nonjudgmental, her knowledge of the entire industry is second to none! She’s prompt, flexible, attentive (without being the slightest bit overbearing), and very thorough. We went from knowing nothing of the process to being quite well-versed because Kandie took every opportunity to teach us along the way. We chose her to help us find a home in Atascadero based on word of mouth recommendations, her deep roots in North County, and the fact that she’s been in the industry practically her whole life. And it shows. She’s a professional in every sense, as is her whole team at Country Real Estate. While we hope that this is our forever home, should we find ourselves buying again or selling in the future there is no question that we would be coming to Kandie Frederick for help. Simply put, Kandie is and has been incredible. My wife and I had never owned real estate when embarking upon homeownership. The initial uncertainty of it all, and the situation of the market was overwhelming. There were highs and lows, and we held out until we found our home. Kandie exercised cautious optimism, being encouraging and forthright about what to expect, striking the perfect balance. Through it all she exemplified professionalism, showed thorough knowledge of all the various facets of the home-buying process, educated and prepared us for everything we encountered, and (despite our nerves) provided the reassurances we needed without blowing smoke. Kandie was referred to us by a good friend and ex-neighbor. She came to our interview to list our house prepared, armed with an amazing marketing plan. She never pushed, but provided valuable information and insight to the current housing market and how to effectively market our house. In the meantime, she became our buyer's agent when we found a home to purchase while marketing our house. She stood fast in representing our needs and rights on both the buying and selling of our home. Buying and selling a home is never an easy process, it is stressful and demanding but Kandie made the difficult process manageable. She was kind, compassionate, and relatable while being extremely professional in handling the negotiations of both homes. In my personal experience in the many years of buying and selling homes, Kandie was by far the most exceptional agent we have had. During our first meeting with Kandie, I was impressed by her professionalism and her organizational and communication skills. She walked us through the selling process and detailed her marketing strategies. She was very knowledgeable in the various aspects of real estate including a 1031 exchange. She guided us through the multiple offers we received. Unfortunately, we chose an offer with a difficult buyer. Kandie was proactive in protecting our interests. She communicated well during the long difficult transaction and moved things along. She always answered my calls and was ready to help with any issues. Because of Kandie, we survived the ordeal. Kandie is a phenomenal realtor. But most of all, she is a kind and generous person. ( She actually came with her truck and helped us move out!)

Chris was very knowledgeable, accommodating, and just an all-around joy to work with. He used to be a home inspector, so he always knew what to look for while we were touring houses; his expert advice was extremely helpful! Chris is an amazing guy! I was worried we would never find a house since we had been looking for so long. We ended up finding a place that had everything we wanted. I almost don't know what to do now that we aren't looking for a house anymore. Chris really had our back with any house we checked out, and we looked at a lot of them. His prior inspection experience and market knowledge really made a big difference when we were looking at properties. He pointed out a lot of things I hadn't even considered that made us rethink many places we were interested in and I'm glad he did! He always kept us up to date with any property info and really made the whole escrow a breeze, despite the short timeline. He even kept us up to date to let us know there was no new news which put my mind at ease too. If we end up looking for another place, Chris is our guy!
