About THOMAS

Tom Yates, Realtor®, joined the U. S. Navy right out of high school, where he served for four years on board The USS Halsey. Married for 38 years, with two daughters and one granddaughter, Tom spent 31 years with the US Postal service, rising to the position of Postmaster in Starke, Florida. Having owned residences in Jacksonville, Orange Park and Fleming Island, Florida, Tom and his wife now reside in St. Johns, where he enjoys all aspects of the First Coast lifestyle. Tom's clients benefit from his multiple careers, which have spanned a significant portion of the North Florida area, making Tom intimately familiar with Jacksonville, St. Augustine, St. Johns and all that Northeast Florida has to offer. Tom feels fortunate that he was able to join the most prestigious and respected real estate firm in Northeast Florida, Coldwell Banker Vanguard Realty in Fleming Island. Went the extra mile!

Tom helped my husband and I look at, and ultimatly purchase a home while being out of state. We initially went into contract sight unseen and had to rely on Tom to view the home, inspections and dealing with a neightbor for access to build a pool. He handled everything timely and communicated through out. Highly recommend.

Tom’s knowledge and professionalism made our home purchasing experience a breeze.

Tom’s communications are always clear, and concise. As a new Florida resident having Tom’s experience in suggesting the best neighborhoods, and amenities was comforting and important in helping us find the right home. Tom always showed up early and had the homes ready for us to walkthrough, as he answered our many questions. After settlement, Tom followed up, to see if everything was going well. Tom is definitely a service oriented person who looks out for his clients throughout the purchasing process as he continually provides stellar performance.

Helped make our dreams come true twice!

Tom has been wonderful to us. He helped us buy our house 5 years ago and sell it this time. He knew the ins and outs of not only the market, but our home. Tom has kept in touch over the years and there was no question who we would ask to help us sell. He advocated for us and went above and beyond to take care of everything we needed. We wish we could have him in New Jersey for the next home!
