Myself having been a life-long renter (I had only recently inherited this home), Marti kindly and patiently educated me on the whole process of selling a home, including giving me a lot of home improvement advice and referrals to prepare for the sale, and even helped me with a minor repair one day. The closing process was then completed efficiently and without any problems. Throughout our work together, which spanned several months, Marti was always professional, kind, generous, efficient, understanding, encouraging, detail-orientated, and very quick to reply to text messages 7 days per week. I especially appreciated that Marti did all of the work herself (no delegating me off to assistants) and authentically listened to my input/concerns/boundaries and then advised me accordingly. Kathy Alexander is endlessly creative when it comes to marketing ideas, and even dreamed up an Easter egg hunt for my home's virtual tour! Marti has helped me to buy TWO homes. Both times her service has been exceptionally professional, yet warm and personal at the same time. The first time, 4 years ago, Marti showed me at least 10 homes. Some were out of reach, and others not just right. But though many conversations we discovered exactly what I wanted, and what I could afford. When the perfect house came on the market we both new it was just right. She made the right call on bid price, timing, and holding. She helped me qualify for a special loan program for non-investors. I moved in and have been happy ever since. Four years later, more recently (3 months ago) Marti helped me invaluably. She was able to present me to a seller, whose property, I believed would be truly out of reach. But it was my life-long goal... Direct Waterfront property!!! The process was a 3-month, absolute roller-coaster ride due to my so-so credit, and some other complications. It was touch and go all the way, but Marti was steadfast in her patience and diligence to deliver this home to me. After several underwriting mis-fires, and endless document requests, I was on the edge of my seat right down to the day of closing itself. Not even an eleventh-hour change-of-financing could knock Marti off her game. She knows the Winter Haven area and market extremely well, is very responsive (and patient!), and has helped me navigate every aspect of a home purchase to the extent that I simply didn't have to worry about it. Marti would view homes, send me walkthrough videos, and advise me whether I should make an offer or walk away. Marti Sutton, is one of THE BEST realtors ever! I sold my home in Winter Haven, Fl and relocated to St. Johns, Fl., in April 2019. I had the good fortune of listing the property with Marti Sutton. She came out, had a look, and immediately advised me on what steps I could take to ensure my house would show the most favorably, none of which were costly or what I felt were unnecessary. I had a price in mind that I wanted to list it at. She had the market comps already done the day we met and agreed that the price was right. She was correct! I had an offer on my house 2 days after it was listed! The sale turned out to be challenging but Marti had it under control every step of the way and we actually closed early.
