Janet Zachary demonstrates integrity, hard work, and creative energy in every detail of your real estate transaction. Janet "Jan" Sayler Zachary, grew up near New Market, Indiana, on the family farm. It was here she inherited her calling, watching her relatives before her, engage in real estate, farming, and auctioneering. She has embraced those traditions into her real estate career. She has a strong background in serving people and listening to their wants and desires. Janet started her initial career in the medical field, thus evolving into a livelihood with the City of Crawfordsville. It was here she received her career strengths, first being a secretary with the Crawfordsville Fire Department, then onto being a 911 dispatcher for the Crawfordsville Police Department and Montgomery County Sheriff's Department. After many years working for the City, a life change occurred, and the family moved to Michigan then onto Montana. Being around snow and mountains was a lifelong dream of hers and her husband's, however, the family beckoned, and Janet returned to her roots. After moving back in 2003, Janet decided to run for public office and served on the Waveland Town Board for five years. After serving on that board, Janet was asked to serve on the Montgomery County Sheriff's Merit Board, which she respectfully served from 2007 to 2015. Janet is a Montgomery Country Art League member and member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and was a published author in Montana Woman Magazine in 2002. Janet is devoted to God, her husband and business partner, Steve, and their children and grandchildren. Her major interests are classic cars, music, Westerns, and art. On a free afternoon, you might just find Janet working out, enjoying her favorite classic movie or music, or spending time with her grandson. Janet also loves to travel to witness nature at its finest. Janet and husband Steve are also members of the Midwest Vintage Racing Car Club and the Ben Hur Car Club. Janet uses her efficient ability to pay attention to details and enjoys guiding her clients to happiness. She loves meeting new people and helping them with their real estate needs and goals.
