We met Bill McCue by a happy accident. He responded to an inquiry we made on a house in Sarasota. He was not even working for us (yet), but he impressed us with both his knowledge and his caring. Bill completely researched the property we were looking at, and sent us about 120 pages of legal proceedings that were going on regarding the property and the neighborhood and the HOA. We obviously didn't buy that one that we were looking at, but we so appreciated the information that we asked him to help us find our dream home. Long story short, we bought the first house that he arranged for us to walk through.
Throughout the process, he impressed us with knowledge of his business. We witnessed him discussing details with our home inspector, and he always seemed to know exactly what rules governed how homes should be properly built and when they were enacted. On the rare occasion that he wasn't completely certain of something, he would research to make sure. We felt totally safe in negotiating the final purchase, because we knew Bill would make sure we were getting a house that was safe and would have no surprises.
We don't have a lawyer, but we definitely wanted one to do the title search and handle the closing to make sure everything was done correctly. Bill suggested a lawyer that he has worked with before, and because of the trust that we had in Bill by that point, we teamed with the suggested lawyer. Everything went smoothly, the lawyer was very
friendly and professional, and the closing was a stress-free experience.
We're really glad we met Bill, and we're definitely going to ask him to help sell our previous house once we've completed a few maintenance repairs.
