I dealt with a handful of realtors before Mikayla. They’d get the job done but she was very passionate on helping find what my fiancé and myself were looking for. We were also first time home buyers so as we put an offer in she was very transparent for negotiations and what was to come. We never heard her try talking us into taking the counter offer (above budget) like I’ve dealt with before. She explained there are houses everywhere for sale if it’s out of budget we’ll just move happily on to the next one to find something we could afford. After 40 days on the market and no offers, her suggestions to lower the price and paint the interior a neutral color created immediate results. The interested buyers had concerns about the aging roof and an unresolved solar panel issue. Carol invested both issues and solved the problems. She suspected a problem with our irrigation system and contacted our irrigation guy to check it out. Just a few days before the scheduled closing, and open permit related to the solar panels was discovered, and Carol worked magic and got it closed.
