
I’ve worked with Chris on multiple deals prior to this sale. Each experience has been great, so I felt confident partnering with him again. He initially won me over with his responsiveness and optimism about getting deals done, and even after several transactions, he’s kept that same energy and enthusiasm. Chris is great at what he does. He knows the Des Moines/surrounding markets extremely well. His experience shows; he’s able to speak confidently and provide helpful context whenever questions came up about the market or the selling process. He’s also super communicative throughout the entire process. We stayed in close contact through text and jumped on calls whenever we needed to align or make real-time strategic decisions. One thing I especially appreciate about Chris is that he truly makes you feel like he has your back. We were clear about our goals for the sale from the start, including where we had flexibility, and we stayed closely aligned throughout. Chris consistently approached conversations, contracts, counterproposals, etc. with our best interests in mind. This property was also a multi-family, with multiple current tenants and a property manager involved; he did a great job owning communication between everyone and the buyer's realtor, including at times when the current tenants weren't so happy the property was being shown/sold, so we didn't have to step in. Even when a few curveballs came our way, he was proactive about pushing back or gathering the right information to ensure we were well taken care of.
