Shelly for us was a God-send! We are a military family coming in from another state, which is always scary due to the lack of knowledge of area. After speaking with several agents we found Shelly. Right off the bat she showed us how honest, polite and responsive she was. Speaking via messages she immediately started searching for our dream home, offered to do video tours and steered us to the areas we would be most comfortable. As soon as we arrived to Abilene she met with us and came up with a game plan. Not only was she organized but she really listened to our wants and needs and didn't try and push anything on us (I was very picky). She even postponed a family trip to show us more houses when we could'nt find the right one. Throughout the entire process she was amazing. If you are looking for a military friendly, honest and just great realtor she is it!!

In the fall of 2017 Shelly reached out to my wife through a Facebook group when my wife inquired about realtors. Shelly responded and provided lots of information about the home buying process and told my wife to let her know if we had any additional questions. We never responded but Shelly NEVER made us feel pressure by continuing to message us about buying a home like other realtors did, we got to take our time with her. So in January I called Shelly and introduced myself as the husband of the woman she messaged all the information. When I called Shelly she was a bit busy, but its what she told me when I called that conformed that she was the one. She said something along that line that she was painting or getting the house painted for a military family who recently moved out of country so they could sell their home. I could be a little off on that story because the cell phone reception wasnt great but she called me back within minutes after getting situated. I let her know we would be moving to Abilene and although we had months before the move she kept in constant contact with me until I came to visit and look at homes. When I came to Abilene to house hunt I got way more than I expected, not only did she show me homes but I got a mini tour of the city which I was not expecting! I saw and got information about schools, things to do, restaurants, etc.! I unfortunately did not find a home during the trip and I felt horrible since I felt I wasted her time, but she was very understanding and didn't try to push anything on me I didn't want. Once a returned home to California a few weeks later we saw a home that was in the process of being built and again I reached out to Shelly. She gave me all the info on it and even went by to give me her feel on the property. From my trip to Abilene she knew exactly what I wanted and I trusted her judgement. mandy did an excellent job of finding us a home. We were in a rush to find a place and close before we had to move. She searched high and low and probably showed us 20 houses. All via FaceTime since we were unable to come to texas to view them for ourselves. We moved in a week a half ago and absolutely love our new home. Thank you Mandy Kidman at Stovall Realtors!!

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Shelly. She stayed on top of everything through the whole process. It was our first time buying a house and she was great about walking us through each step with great detail and answered every single question, and redirected us to who could help us when we asked one she didn't know. Her professionalism and kindness goes above and beyond and was sincerely appreciated. You can't go wrong with her.
