Valerie was the first realtor we interviewed and we knew from out first meeting she would be the realtor that would sell our house. We cancelled the other two after meeting her. We have worked with many realtors in our lifetime but Val definitely was the best realtor we have ever worked with. She was on the ball, very smart, great great advice, excellent communication and handled every detail the way we expected. Our house was sold in 3 months.

Finding a home is not easy, especial your first home. Mary made finding my first home possible. Even thought we did not know exactly what we were looking for Mary worked with us. We were having trouble finding a pit bull friendly neighborhood. After at least 3 months of looking she found the place we would call home. Not only did she help us find a home, she was very kind and understanding and always full of energy.

Mary was everything we could have wanted in a realtor. She is knowledgeable about the area and was willing to spend a lot of time with us looking at houses until we found one that was right. Two Words. Amazing Experience. Being remote and already moved out of Illinois I thought it would be a challenge and I would have to make several trip. But I never had to go. Dave handled everything. He is a friend when needed,a mentor when needed and guide when needed. Very knowledgeable about the neighborhood and in tuned with reality,very straightforward (it is always a yes/no there is never a maybe) and understands the needs and exceeds expectations. Lauren jumped through some hoops for us and did a super job of 'watching' our house and keeping us informed when we had relocated and it was still on the market. Lauren Dettmann listed and sold our home in Barrington. We encountered a problem with mold which was due to the previous owner building the courtyard with pavers and blocking our dryer vent!!!<br/><br/>She knew exactly how to resolve the issue, she contacted the best company to accomplish the mold remediation (very messy) and it was accomplished without delay. She also had a contractor she works with clear the exhaust and repair the courtyard. Upon inspection the inspector spotted a minor water leak and Lauren had someone out to resolve that quickly.<br/><br/>Her attorney was on top of everything at all times.
