Betty hung in with us for as long as it took to find the view, the look, the amenities we desired. Her knowledge of the area, impeccable communication when a property came available that met our needs and was always ready to take a look. Betty is the consummate professional. This is our tenth home purchase in eight different states. We've never enjoyed a better experience!!

Betty made this experience so easy. Was on call day and night for any of my needs. Truly above and beyond.

Excited to be on the other side of the real estate search, settling in to our new home and reflecting on the experience. I met with several realtors and ultimately chose to work with Jon due to a compelling blend of expert knowledge and a focus on finding the right fit for us. Jon was equally comfortable with a deep dive into valuations, a meandering discussion about what we were looking for in a home or a frank conversation about what it takes to be successful in the search. And not to be taken for granted, Jon is a hard worker. It's a challenging market and we certainly would not have been successful in finding our new home without his diligence and perseverance.

Theresa Gatewood did an excellent job with our land purchase! She is very thorough, knowledgeable and friendly! She responded to any of our questions or concerns immediately! She made everything about our purchase very smooth and easy! We highly recommend her, and will tell everyone we know about our excellent experience with her!

After dragging my heels to list my property for sale for fear of hassle after hassle that can often be the experience of selling real estate, I received information from the Gatewood Group Real Estate team. The mailer was so professional and well put together that I reached out. Theresa emailed me back right away and my fears were immediately put at ease. From start to finish, Theresa guided me through the process and made the selling of my property so easy that I am still in disbelief. Not only was the process a breeze, but my property sold in record time and I was able to turn a profit, which I did not expect at all. Gatewood Group Real Estate is TOP NOTCH!!!!

Jon was with us every step of the way and went above and beyond to make this our smoothest real estate transaction to date.

Jon was an invaluable resource in the land purchasing process. As someone looking to purchase their first plot of land I'm glad that I found him as my agent. He listened to what I was looking for, was diligent in his communication and feedback on properties, and ultimately found us an off-market listing that was a perfect fit and we made an offer the next day. He even persuaded us to look at a bordering town to what we initially expressed interest in and we are very glad that he did!  After the close, Jon provided me with information on what next steps look like in developing land and made contractor recommendations. If I bought land again in North Carolina I'd start my search by reaching out to Jon.

Theresa was great. She kept us up-to-date every step of the way. She was timely in her responses and was very patient with all of our questions. We would highly recommend her!

Not only are the Gatewoods kind & communicative, they are incredibly knowledgeable of every intricacy of the real estate process as well as the entire area. I never felt there was a question left unanswered. I am so grateful we were matched up with them & would recommend them to anyone.

I am very pleased that I chose Theresa of Gatewood Group Real Estate to handle the sale of my vacation home. Professionalism was evident from first meeting through the listing and showings and in handling the closing. I felt well taken care of and I highly recommend using Gatewood Group!

We enjoyed working with Jon Gatewood to sell our cabin in Jefferson, and we couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. Throughout the process, Jon showed a deep understanding of the local market and provided valuable insights to help us price our property competitively. His marketing strategies were top-notch, and our listing received significant attention, ultimately leading to a quick and successful sale. In addition to the sale, Jon assisted us in locating a lot to build our dream vacation home on. All of this while he was working tirelessly to sell our cabin. His exceptional communication and attentiveness truly set Jon apart. He was always available to answer our questions, address our concerns, and provide updates on the progress of our sale.
