Kathy Colville took the time to sit down with me and hear the rather involved back story as to why I needed to sell. She thoroughly explained what would likely happen under different scenarios and helped me understand how the system works. When I made up my mind on what I wanted to do, she acted quickly to make it happen, explaining each step we needed to take and making sure it was done properly. When I received some confusing information from my mortgage company she quickly contacted them to find out what they needed and why. She found that the company did not coordinate well internally and some of the communications I was getting from them were not appropriate to my case and I could ignore them. She continued to keep in close communication with me to advise me what was going on with the sale and to find out if I needed any assistance from her office in getting the house ready, in moving things out and in checking with the buyer's representative to see if he wanted any furniture items I was still needing to be rid of. This led to my being able to leave several pieces of furniture and storage cabinets for the new owner, who was grateful to get them. Kathy went with me to the closing signing and made sure all went as it should. And finally, she informed me that following the buyer's closing signing, I would be getting a relocation assistance check in the amount of $1500 which I was not expecting. Her office followed up on this and I did receive the check and it has helped me very much.
