Tracy Dismukes was introduced to my family by a mutual friend, as one of the most respected realtors in the Birmingham area. We were in a rush to find a home for our daughter, who is embarking on an 8 year MD/PhD program at UAB. We were in a rush because we found ourselves with three weeks to find a suitable home close to campus, close on it and move in. In a period of two days/two visits, she was able to show us at lease 18 homes, which we felt was quite remarkable. Having found a terrific place in Homewood, we were able to inspect, address remaining issues and close in 7 days. This was aided by her knowledge of very good inspectors who were not only able to work quickly but had access to and provided a list of preferred contractors, several of whom we employed to fix a few issues, professionally, promptly, and with great results. Lastly, she introduced us to a terrific decorator who helped us get needed furniture purchased and into the home over a three day period - an individual who also helped us find a landscaper, yard maintenance team, and a carpenter/drywall repairman and painter, all of whom we immediately employed. None of this would have been accomplished without Tracy's support, and we especially note that we could not have found homes, gotten in to see them, made an offer, inspected, repaired, transitioned utilities, closed, and moved into the home so quickly, or, even, at all. If you are considering moving to, relocating within, or otherwise seeking a new home or selling yours in the Birmingham area, I highly recommend contacting Tracy. She is diligent, fun to work with, kind and professional. If you are going to be part of the excellent and growing medical and scientific community at UAB, I especially recommend her, as she is very knowledgeable and responsive/sensitive to the needs of our community.
