About Kathy

As a military spouse for 24 years I do understand the frustration and excitement of buying, selling or renting a home and all the issues that accompany each move. We lived in two foreign countries and eleven different states and each move presented its own unique challenges. My husband Tom's last assignment brought us to MacDill AFB in 2001; a place we now call home. We have three grown children: a daughter and her husband who live In Sumter, SC with our two grandsons as well as two sons— one a Doctor in Denver and his twin brother working on his PhD right here in Tampa Bay. A love of sports is in my west Texas blood. Depending on the season I follow the Rays, the Bucs and am an avid Lightning fan. I never miss my Texas Aggies play (class of '74)! During Tom's military career I was an elementary school teacher and worked as a loan officer in the banking industry. Both fields led me to the compassion I have to work with people in the real estate industry. Soon after we got here I joined Acclaim Realty Co. and have been with the company ever since. I am a member of the National Association of Realtors, Florida Association of Realtors, Tampa Realtors Association, and am fortunate enough to have been the top agent for Acclaim Realty Co. for the past several years. What I am most proud of is the Quality Service award which I have received for the last 8 years, an award voted on by my customers. Acclaim Realty Co. has been a national and statewide leader in raising money for the Tampa Bay area Easterseals Florida, Inc. for the past twenty plus years. Our agents take a personal interest in each fundraiser and it has paid off with thousands of dollars being raised for special needs children and their families in the Tampa Bay Area..

Kathy is THE realtor you are looking for!

Kathy is a real gem—she's thoughtful and caring, a great communicator, and incredibly knowledgeable. She has been my go-to realtor of choice through 3 moves since 2010. Her experience in the market is second to none and she was incredibly helpful in balancing several competing needs to price the home correctly and get the house sold. We ended up with more than we expected (asking price plus closing costs from buyer) without wading into a bidding war and risking the appraisal.

Kathy is a great and knowledgeable Realtor

Kathy helped my brother and I purchase our 1st house and couldn’t be happier with the house she help us find. She was there to answer all our first time homebuyer questions. She was always on top of things and asked the questions we didn’t even know to ask through out the whole buying process. My brother and I are happy that we found an realtor with as much experience as Kathy, which lead us to have a simple and smooth buying experience.

Kathy is knowledgeable, kind, cautious and caring.

Kathy knows the Tampa Bay Area market. She listens to the homeowner and provides solid advice on home prep and pricing. She knew what I needed before I knew what I wanted. I used Kathy twice and would definitely use her again. Highly recommend Kathy Kemp to sell your home and find your next one.

Kathy is really on the ball. She is very nice and makes the whole process comfortable. I felt like I was working with a friend. She is very knowledgeable, upfront and honest. Having someone like Kathy in your corner is a great thing!

I had a great experience with Rockie as my agent. With the current market being what it is, she did everything she could do for my home to sell.. With her persistence, my home is now sold. I was very pleased to have her as my agent and I highly recommend her.
