Overview

If you are searching for a protected coastal property in Santa Cruz County, it will be tough to find a better deal. With a seawall out back and some of California's best surfing visible out of almost every room, you might be waiting a lifetime to find a similar view and coastal lifestyle in this price range. The kitchen & living room open together toward the water, so most of life ends up happening right there, cooking dinner, catching up with friends, or just watching the horizon change colors as the sun drops. Big windows keep the ocean in view no matter where youre sitting & radiant heat beneath the engineered hardwood floors keeps everything comfortable, even on those cooler coastal days. Out back, the yard was designed to actually be used. Turf, fencing & a fire pit make it the natural gathering place once the sun goes down & the sound of the waves carry up the bluff. Life here includes riding bikes along East Cliff, strolling down to the beach with a board under your arm, coffee nearby & evenings at the neighborhood park. And for the practical side of oceanfront living, the home shares a maintained seawall with Coastal Commission approval for ongoing upkeep. It's the kind of place people come to unplug & quietly end up staying for decades.
