Ashling Thurmond assisted us with listing and selling our long-time family home in Alexandria, VA. She was very professional and always kept us informed along the way. She made many recommendations to us regarding marketing and assisted us with finding contractors to perform repairs and upgrades to our home before putting it on the market. Alan was an excellent real estate agent. We looked at over 20 condos with Alan and he was able to spot troublesome issues or potential issues that would require additional work down the road for us. He had great insight into other condos that had recently sold in the areas we were interested in and was always a text away. We would highly recommend Alan because of his knowledge of the buying processes, northern Virginia expertise, construction experience, and friendliness. He also knew all the answers for a first time buyer in there early 30's!! Also, his mortgage broker was awesome at explaining, in detail, the whole buying process!!!

Start to finish an absolutely seamless process. The staging was critical and quite honestly— the deal breaker. Well that, and the truly personal (and funny) video to show our house in a laid back, approachable way. Ellis Properties held our hands through the entire process. They answered our questions, were available at all times, provided recommendations and resources and were the calm, professional, and knowledgeable voice through it all. We have since asked that they help our son and his family find their perfect place. 💯 recommend

I felt comfortable with each decision I made because I was given complete and sound advice from the team. I was almost sad to stop spending Saturdays with Sara house-hunting. Allison helped me work through tough decisions (also making them feel less tough) and was flexible and gracious when I was a needy first-time buyer. Marty patiently guided me through two different home inspections, making a stressful process actually seem fun. Once I was under contract, Sam made sure every piece went through smoothly to closing. She was incredibly responsive during a very tight turnaround between going under contract and closing. You don't build such a great business without being the best, but needless to say, Sue's experience shown through when we needed to make a few very difficult decisions. We put our condo - in a 55+ community- up for sale just before the Holidays. Ginger wrote up a lovely description and had many pics on the various realty sites. She stayed in continued contact and made many good suggestions as far as staging and furniture placement, etc. With the elections and being in an area particularly subject to political environment ups & downs, we got the condo sold pretty quickly despite the overall politically-caused pause in number of active buyers and the Holidays. We'd hire her again in a second~
