I have been working with Gerald Merriwether since 2012, and this was my fourth transaction with him. Every experience has been great, but this one truly reminded me why I continue to trust him with such important milestones. This transaction came with a lot more challenges than usual. We were concerned about the appraisal, especially since I was selling one of the highest-priced homes in the neighborhood, but Gerald handled everything with confidence, professionalism, and patience. Even under pressure, he never made the process feel stressful or overwhelming. He also went above and beyond with his staging business, working alongside his son, Jaquez Merriwether, and his business partner, Sal. The staging and presentation of the home were phenomenal and made such a huge difference. From listing, staging, marketing, negotiating, and staying on top of every detail, the work was excellent from top to bottom. I also had a great experience on the financing side working with James Gay, who did an amazing job as well. Everyone involved worked together seamlessly, and everything happened on schedule as planned, even when we expected possible delays or challenges. I truly cannot say enough good things about Gerald. He is professional, knowledgeable, dependable, and works extremely well under pressure. I never felt like I had to worry because he was always two steps ahead. We play Bridge with Shirleen’s in-laws and think the “world of those two people”! We felt like Shirleen would be a good “fit” for the two of us!! She impressed us on her first visit out to our place. She has many people at her fingertips to call on to fix things, which is a big help. We are in our 80’s and not able to do a lot of things like we could 30 years ago!!!
