As a customer at our business, we have known Barbara for many years. We were also well aware of her reputation as a friendly, knowledgeable, and hard working realtor. When it came time to sell our house, we knew exactly who to call. I can’t say enough about how smooth the process of selling our house was. Barbara was methodical in walking us through the process. She never overwhelmed us with a million things that needed doing, but followed up with us to make sure that we were on top of what did need doing. When a death in our family happened, she backed off immediately, hit the pause button, and gave us the time we needed before we were ready to proceed. All the while she checked in with us to offer her support. Barbara offered great thoughts on pricing, projects that needed doing, and always had an answer when we had questions. She is knowledgeable, and confident, but not pushy. She never tried to bulldoze us into anything we weren’t comfortable with. Once we had a deal, We were guided seamlessly through the second half of the process. Well after our sale was completed, Barbara checked in to see how we were making out. She even offered advice when we were struggling to find a new home in a different state. When we had questions and needed an impartial opinion about houses we were looking at, she made herself available to us. Clearly she’s interested in more than just her next commission, she’s fully vested in the entire process of helping clients. Barbara Hartzell is professional and knowledgeable, but she’s also fun, helpful, friendly, experienced, and smart. She’s great at small talk, calming frayed nerves, and knows how to get the job done.
