While our thoughts were of a single home, she injected thought of a duplex. This discussion produced a list of candidates (single and duplex) to visit. She was able to get us into a house (a duplex) the day it went on the market. It was everything we could have imagined as our new home. Abby suggested an inspector and an appraiser that she had worked with on numerous occasions. Both men were very detailed in preparing their reports. She kept me updated and answered questions, sometimes even before they were asked! She fully explained the process and provided a time schedule for the various events. Everything went smoothly from getting loan approval to closing because of the time and effort Abby put in. The offer we made may not have been the highest, but it was written to reflect our desire for the house along with the willingness to work with the seller. It did the trick – we won the bidding war! Our offer was the most favorable to the seller. She definitely knows how to sweeten the deal! I don't think that I can understate how nervous I was about the search for a new home in today's market - and I cannot understate how Sara made the process so much easier. From day one, she was communicative and had a genuine desire not just to make a sale - but to help my husband and I get into a place we could call our own. My husband at first thought we might be able to do this without a realtor. It took a total of one conversation with Sara for him to agree we were making the right decision with her. The first house we saw was a bit of a disaster (sometimes pictures do truly look better than in person), but Sara took it as a chance to educate us as to what we should be looking for as we looked at other properties - and with that knowledge, we were able to pinpoint exactly what we wanted in the properties we saw. She was on top of everything from the moment we decided to put in an offer to one of the homes we saw, and was an absolute godsend during the entire process, from the offer to the inspection to the signing. She has even made a point to reach out in the weeks after signing to check in how we're doing in our new home, and even bought a dog toy to welcome our corgi into our home. I am very aware that we were incredibly lucky with our home search to find our dream home - and incredibly luck to have Sara as our agent!
