We used Shawna to help us find a home when we found out we were being stationed at Fort Bragg and again three years later to sell our home when we received orders to a new duty station. Shawna was absolutely fantastic to work with. Throughout both the buying and selling experience, Shawna continuously stayed in contact with us and provided detailed knowledge on the pros and cons of specific neighborhoods, what the market was currently experiencing, and provided us what options she thought were best. Her flexibility to work with us on our timeline and schedule was a huge plus as well. Shawna's experience both working with the military and as a military spouse enable her to understand the challenges that military families experience when buying or selling a home. This was our first experience both buying and selling a home, so we had an endless amount of questions about the entire process. Shawna happily answered all of our questions tirelessly and even provided additional information to ensure we were as informed about the process, the experience, and everything to expect. Bottom line: Shawna is an absolutely fantastic real estate professional to work with. Her experience and knowledge of the area and her dedication to customer service are second to none. I’ve worked with a good handful of realtors in my life, and I must say that Mouse made things the most blissfully easy and pleasant I’ve ever experienced. He’s truly a ‘people person’, friendly and funny, and I will miss looking at houses with him. His knowledge of the workings of houses was far superior to anything I’ve experienced; and he had no problem rolling up his sleeves and doing extra dirty work like crawling under houses to look at things there which could be an issue. He’s highly proactive, and made sure to check in with me regularly. He was always available for a call if I had a question, and responded immediately to texts, both of which are rare. He understood from the beginning what my likes and dislikes were, as well as my communication preferences, and made sure to address/follow them with every house we looked at. Unlike other realtors who were just trying to sell a house, he really wanted to help me find my perfect house, and would honestly point out any possible deal breakers when he found them, so we could quickly move on to the next house (he did not waste my time, which I very much appreciate). In addition to this, he has NUMEROUS connections around this area, having grown up here, and made sure to find the most reasonable prices for the best estimates, inspections , etc. Even after closing last September, he’s still sending me useful information and reminders and checking in with me to make sure my new journey is successful. I’m so glad I trusted him, and if ever I need to look for another house, he will be my go to person! I’m a bit sad that I can only give 5 stars. Thank you, Mouse!
