Candice was outstanding to work with and I would recommend her without hesitation. She recently helped me sell a property that had been my father’s home for over 20 years. The property was somewhat unique — a 30-year-old rural home on five acres that also included two large commercial buildings. Because of the niche nature of the property and the relatively slow movement in the area at the time of listing, I expected the process to take quite a while. Candice approached it with a thoughtful strategy and a lot of persistence. The house and buildings were also completely full of belongings, which added another layer of complexity. Candice helped identify and coordinate an estate sale company that was able not only to conduct the sale but also to remove the remaining personal property afterward. That alone made a huge difference in making the property ready to show. Since I live out of state, I couldn’t be there regularly to manage details. Aubrey is an extraordinary agent. We purchased a foreclosure through her at the end of May, she was able to schedule our showings exactly when we needed them and we were able to find and close on our house in less than 4 weeks. She is extremely easy to communicate with, very prompt with her responses, very thorough and knowledgeable. We were looking for a house within an impossible timeframe and she made it happen. I couldn't be happier with our choice to choose her as our agent. She is extremely professional, however is still genuine and comfortable to be around. She goes above and beyond her duties as a real estate agent. She helped to ensure that our investment was sound, although that isn't part of her job. You can tell she truly loves her job. One thing that is a particular pet peeve of mine is when an agent is late for an appointment and Aubrey was always on time. During the end of our transaction seller's (VA bank) pushed the closing back by 10 days, after we had already signed settlement papers and thought we were all closed with the exception of being recorded with the county. This was beyond an enormous inconvenience for my family as we were living out of Airbnb's and then had to switch to an extremely over priced hotel room with the 6 of us and 2 pets. The situation was tense and extremely stressful, but Aubrey came to our rescue and allowed us to stay in her parent's winter home in Fayetteville until our closing. She went well above and beyond her duties as an agent. However, she once again pulled though for us and pulled some strings to get us closed and recorded within 48 hrs of our original closing date.
