MARKET KNOWLEDGE - Knew our market up and down, was spot on every step of the way. 5. NEGOTIATION SKILLS - Got us the best offer possible. Even with some buyer shenanigans attempted right near the finish line Katleyn stayed on our side and strong. 6. AVAILABILITY - Katelyn went above an beyond. Was always available whenever we had random questions along the way and with multiple feet of snow arriving right before the viewings / open house was all over it to help out and make sure the house was accessible. Moved across the country before listing the house. Tom took care of everything. Went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.

Things with Tom started out very well. We had a contract within 8 days. After some fixes we were on track. In the end, things didn't run so smoothly. Due to a lack of communication, the "final walk through" never had a firm time of taking place between both sides. No exact time was conveyed to be out of the house which caused the buyers lawyer/realtor being involved and making demands straight through me! I expected Tom to be the buffer between us but that was no communication on both sides. Additionally, the realtor for the buyers said to my face that she was the lawyer and I was to be out ASAP! I had never met the woman previously. Finally, due to scheduling and weather issues, the new roofing job has not been completed as of yet. The other lawyer is withholding $10,000 from the sale even though I have paid the contract for the job in full. Is that even legal? My experience of owning a home in NY was great until the end.
